My two favorite characters (Haqua and Keima) in The World God Only Knows.
Those who don't know the series should seriously take up watching/reading it. Romantic Comedy are the best ;D
[Little insight in the series]
The man is Keima Katsuragi, an avid gamer of galges (games in which you conquer heroines) and is known to be a gaming god, capable of completing 6 games at once with incredible speed. He inadvertently signed a contract from hell to capture loose souls housed in the hearts of women, except he has no experience in capturing real women. He must then turn to his gaming experience to capture these women, else by contract, he and his ditzy demon partner lose their heads.
The woman is Haqua du Lot Herminium and is the second demon that appears in the series. She is the tsundere type (the nature in women who are initially cold and hostile towards a person but then slowly warms up to them) who throughout the story's progression, starts liking Keima, but have always been in denial of it, often overreacting whenever anything is suggested of them liking each other. Keima, despite being a conqueror of women, fails to notice her affections and often misses the intentional and unintentional signs of her feelings. (One hilarious scene was when Keima accidentally walked into her naked in the shower, but he was so caught up in his conquest plans he didn't even remember what she looked like. Haqua, who was initially yelling at him for being a pervert, started beating him for not noticing her.)

This quality of the piece definitely doesn't amount to the time I had to put into it. It was just getting the lineart just perfect (doin my best to imitate the original artist's work) that took up like 70% of the time. Oh well, very satisfied with the result, especially with the blending of the colors and the details I put in the little makeshift background. The faces of the characters still doesn't seem quite perfect to me, but I'll settle on it being close >.<. Drawing this does gives me the insight that I LOVE SAI's WATER TOOL, and that I have tremendous dedication for I sat in front of the computer for 18 hours working on this project the first day.
