Raiding the Dagannoth Kings (2.x) (Schol.Hon/Ment) by DaEliminator Raiding the Dagannoth Kings (2.x) (Schol.Hon/Ment) by DaEliminator
Prev Version: [link]
I went and revised this because the barbarians in the old one were just not up to par with the rest of the picture and at the same time, I wanted to enter this in the [2013] Scholastics Art Awards Competition. I ended up doing all the revisions on the night of the deadline and didn't even fully complete the revisions xP. I did end up getting enough of it done for submission, and as you see by the title, I got an Honorable Mention on it. I'll finish the revisions sometime eventually and post a final, complete version.

Things I found entertaining about the revision:
In a side by side comparison, the eye tends to go towards the waterfall than the people.
I drew drawn bows without strings or arrows. I wonder if the judges noticed.

I plan on fixing the scaling on Prime so he looks as big and impressive as the others

Questions for the artists:
How should I make the environment more immersive, like adding depth without make areas impossibly dark?
What's a good, fast easy way of creating gravel?
How should I improve my under-water effects?
